    Finish or hand over every open order

    Review your open tickets. Complete what you can. For anything unfinished, write the order or ticket reference, what is already done, the next action and who will finish it. Tell the incoming lead about any customer waiting.

    Make stock needs visible

    Count the items on your shop's handoff list and compare each count with its approved par. Record the unit, quantity on hand and shortage. Tell the incoming lead what needs refilling or ordering. Do not guess a count or change the par.

    Flag anything that is not ready

    Check your station against your shop's approved reset checklist. Record unfinished cleaning, missing supplies or equipment problems. If equipment is unsafe or faulty, stop using it and tell your lead. Follow your shop's approved equipment procedure.

    Confirm the next person has the handoff

    Walk through the notes together. Ask the incoming lead to repeat the next actions and owners. Clear up missing details before you leave. If no one is available to take over, contact your designated lead and record who accepted the handoff.
